A chilly February morning
through Renton de Alwis

After closing evening's gale winds little white
my February morn
has selected to stick
wrapped in a
tender blanket
piercing bloodless,

got here dressed
in two white
lotus blooms
two egrets
desperate to greet
pond's fish
little tortoise youngster
poked his nostril
just for your time,

wild pigeon
liquids watched
by way of drops on
lotus leaves
shining within the
morning sunlight,

afterward
they're going to all move
to varsity with
little Podi and Doni
to be sung approximately.

Overweight barks
the morning in.
